Registrations are being taken now for the 2020-2021 St Matthew Faith Formation program and for sacramental preparation for Confirmation and First Communion. Sign up your public school students, grades K to 10, by first reading the COVID-19 precautions information and then, second, completing a fillable registration PDF form. Email completed registration PDF forms to or print the completed form and bring it with your student to the first evening of class.
The first two in-person classes are September 23 and September 30. Families that complete registration will receive a schedule, and classes continue through early May. All classes are held in St Matthew Parish Center. Children in grades K and 1 and children in grades 2 and 3 preparing for First Communion start class at 6:30 PM. Students in grades 3 who have already made their First Communion and children in grade 4 start class at 6:45. Students in grades 5 and above, including those preparing for Confirmation, have class from 7 to 8 PM. Students need to wear face masks covering their nose and mouth.
St Matthew uses the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies curriculum. For more information and to locate parent resources, visit their family resources web page.
The Faith Formation program will use a mix of in-person classes and remote learning this school year and the schedule is subject to change if needed due to public health guidelines.
