FAITH FORMATION SPRING BREAK: Faith Formation students in Grades K to 10 do NOT have class on Wednesday, April 5, due to spring break in the local school district. Classes resume in the St. Matthew Parish Center on Wednesday, April 12, at 6:30 PM for public school students in Grades K to 7 and at 6:45 PM for public school students in grades 8 to 10.
CONFIRMATION THIS MONTH: St. Matthew Confirmation candidates have three weeks left to prepare for the sacrament, which will be celebrated on April 23 at 2:00 PM in the Cathedral of Saint Paul. Confirmation candidates, sponsors, and families should come to St. Matthew at 4:00 PM on April 15 for Mass and a meeting after Mass in Church. Then on April 19 all Confirmation candidates (Faith Formation and Community of Saints students) have their final class in the St. Matthew Parish Center from 6:45 PM until 7:50 PM. Please pray for our Confirmation candidates as they prepare to receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit and to enter more fully into the life of our church.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD: In-person Children’s Liturgy will not take place on Easter Sunday, April 9 at the 10:15 AM Mass. Children’s Liturgy packets are available near the doors of the church for both Saturday and Sunday Masses. In-person Children’s Liturgy will resume on Sunday, April 16.
