Fall Festival update 7-21-2019

St. Matthew’s Fall Festival, September 14-15, 2019

We will have an organizational meeting on Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:30 pm in the Parish Center.

It is not too soon to start gathering donations for the various booths.

 


DONATIONS

Only 7 weeks until our annual Parish Fall Festival!!

We need everyone’s help to make this another successful event!

We will be pleased to accept your donations before and after mass every Saturday and Sunday. Please bring them to the back of the church. Donations during

The week, Monday through Friday will be accepted at the Parish Center.  Monday  – Thurs from 9am to 4pm and Friday from 9am until noon.

Donation Suggestions include:

Bakery: Baked Goods, Canned goods, crafts

Jewelry: Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, clips, hats, purses, scarves, religious items

Pie Booth: Any type of pie, ice cream (gallon size) needed the week of festival in case we need to buy additional.

Bottle Lotto: Separate wrapped candy, fruit roll-ups, snacks, small toys for boys & girls.

Root Beer Floats: Root Beer and any other flavor pop in liter bottles. (Watch for sales at Cub 10 for $10)

Kid’s Games: Prizes for kids of all ages. (Oriental Trading is an excellent web site as is Amazon.com. Search under “Carnival Prizes”. Many prizes for a reasonable price.

Silent Auction: New items only! Gift certificates, items for children, small appliances etc. No Collectibles or used items. Include Price on Items!

Paddle Wheel:  Gift cards needed! These can be purchased at Scrip Table in back of church . By buying cards from Scrip, you are donating to the church twice!!

 


PADDLE WHEEL

For decades the Paddle Wheel has been a tradition at our yearly festival. For a $1 chance, you can win a gift card for a restaurant, tank of gas, movies etc. Merchandise is also available for various “spins of the wheel”. The booth is looking for donations of Gift Cards. These cards can also be purchased at the Scrip Table in the back of church. Remember, if you buy your Gift Card donation from Scrip, you are donating to the church TWICE!!
