2019 Celebrate West St. Paul Days Grand Marshal
Our very own Tim Nowak was the grand marshal for this year’s Celebrate WSP Days parade. I feel this is long overdue. Tim works hard for the WSP community and is well deserving of this honor. Congratulations Tim!
2019 Celebrate West St. Paul Days Financials
The Celebrate WSP Days / Harmon Park Festival was a little slow due to the weather. Despite it being slow and with some creative accounting the club showed a decent profit. The creative accounting is that we will use the product that we didn’t cook at this event for next week’s meeting meal and upcoming events. Thanks to those that helped with this event!
Sick and Vigil
Larry Smith and Paul Kempe have been going through some health issues, please keep them in your prayers.
Meat Raffles
The meat raffles continue to be a consistent fund raiser for the Men’s Club. If you can help on Friday’s at Gallagher’s around 5pm please sign up on the sheet that will be passed around at the general meeting.
August Men’s Club Meeting
The August board meeting and general meeting will be held on Wednesday August 7th, starting at 7pm.
This change is due to a MN Loons game on the Wednesday August 14th. Bill Lynch coordinated extra tickets for our club in conjunction with another organization he belongs to. Bill has limited seats and will discuss it at the general meeting, if you are interested you can let Bill know that night. If you are not attending the general meeting, please respond back to this newsletter and I will forward it onto Bill.
