May 2018 News
Next Men’s Club meeting: Wednesday, May 9th, at 7:30 pm
Menu – Chili, maybe? We will have something good to eat even if it’s not chili.
Thanks
The Jenniges’s family would like to thank the St Matthews Men’s Club for its prayers and support during these tough times. As you most know, Jim’s son Paul was diagnosed with mesothelioma cancer. This week the doctors said they can’t do anymore to help him, he is now in God’s hands. Please keep Paul, Jim and their families in your thoughts and prayers.
2018 Celebrate West St Paul Days
Once again, the men’s club will have a food booth at this event. If you can help, Tim Nowak will be at the social hall at 11am and will be at Harmon park around noon. This event will run until dusk or whenever we run out of food. We can use help all day so if you have time please try and be there.
Upcoming Service Requests
We have a request to donate pop, ice and provide a server at an event for all graduates of St. Matt’s, St. Michael’s, St. John Vianney and Our Lady of Guadalupe, celebrating 25 (1993), 50 (1968), 60 (1958), 70 (1948) & 75 (1943) on Sunday May 20th at St Mikes.
There will also be an event in conjunction with the Sunday event at St Matts on Saturday May 19th.
We will discuss these events at the next meeting.
Meat Raffles
Raffles continue to bring a consistent flow of funds to the club, we can always use help. Tim will pass around a sign-up sheet at the meeting.
