SUPPORT YOUR PARISH – EFTs
Some parishes need to ask their members for extra contributions to finish their fiscal year in the black. (Our fiscal year ends June 30, along with all other Catholic churches and schools in the Archdiocese.)
Fortunately, we don’t have to do that at St. Matt’s this year. That’s because of the consistent, solid operating support many parishioners provide. Thank you!
Electronic Fund Transfers (EFTs) are a convenient way to contribute regularly. Over the phone or in person, I can set up an EFT for you. I’ll need your bank’s name, routing number, and your bank account number. I’ll also want to know the size and frequency of your contributions. All of this information is kept confidential, of course.
To set up an EFT, please give me a call at the parish office. (Do not send sensitive banking information via email.) If you already use an EFT, call me whenever your banking information changes. Thank you for your support!
Whenever you have questions about parish finances, let me know. You can also talk to any member of our Finance Council. Also, our monthly meetings are open, should you wish to attend. Our next meeting is Thursday, June 30 at 4:30 PM in the Parish Center.
VOICEMAIL IS BACK!
Last week, we replaced our twenty-year old phone system with a new one. Voicemail service is back!
The approximate cost for this new system is $2,300. (Those funds came from last November’s calendar fundraiser, by the way. Thanks to all who participated in that effort.) I don’t expect the new system to last 20 years, but it should serve us well for several years, at least.
Have a great week!
