We invite all parish members to consider serving on the Pastoral Council. Serving on the council is a ministry to the whole parish. There are nine members who serve a 2 year term with a maximum of 6 years. We operate by consensus. Consensus decision-making is a group decision-making process in which group members develop, and agree to support, a decision in the best interest of the whole.
Council members should be willing to commit their time, talent and wisdom in a consultative and collaborative manner. Members are asked to attend monthly meetings. Typically we have ten meetings each year.
After Masses on May 18th and 19th council members will answer your questions about the role, responsibilities and decision making process. If you have an interest in discussing, please contact current council members who are listed in the bulletin. There are 3 vacancies on the Pastoral Council we are looking to fill.
New Pastoral Council members will be announced on Pentecost weekend, June 8th and 9th.
