Thanks to recent volunteers

Published January 10, 2019

We are a volunteer parish! Never was this more evident than when we put out a call for volunteers to help decorate the church for the Christmas season. Many volunteers, children, Faith Formation students and adults gathered after the 10:00 mass. In less than 1 hour the trees were assembled, banners and altar cloths in place and Poinsettia plants brought into the church from the sacristy. As a parish, we thank all who volunteered. Miles Dunn, Jean Marlo, Canada Jimenez, Christian Adori-Ruiz, Jason & Adon Grado, Alvaro Sorrano Dennis Canada, Kameron Morales, Olivia Garcia, Chris, Ron, Latrice & Bonnie Jondro, Jerold & Lucy Dosch, Mary & Bob Bejblik, Charley Andersen, Jim Scanlan, Tim Dalzell, Suzanne Clark, George Derringer, Joe Stevens, Brianna & Ashley Ghiloni, Al & Kathy Showalter and the Luckjohn Family. If any names were missed email me at

We hope to have many volunteers on Sun. Jan 13th after the 10:00 mass to remove the Christmas decorations and return the church to Ordinary Time.

Fr. Bob’s Farewell: Thank you to all who helped with Fr. Bob ’s Farewell after the Sat & Sun masses: Karen Thompson, John Riehle, Jan Lackner, Jackie Lackner, Becca Lackner, Mary Leibl, Tim Nowak, Greg Arrigoni, Dean Steinbrenner, Bill Lynch, Bob Bejblik, Tom Kegler, Greg & Diane Lothenbach, Kathy Thompson, Corrine, Brengman, Joe & Florida Stevens & Tony Postiglione.

We need volunteers to continue the work of serving our parish and community. Currently we have these continuing opportunities.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD

Need teachers and teen helpers to assist with Children’s Liturgy of the Word. This liturgy is offered during the school year at the Sun. 10am Mass.

FAITH FORMATION

Looking for Hospitality Coordinators: Will plan & organize food, drinks, service, set-up, and clean-up at 2 events in early March. Planning would begin in January. Recruit helpers & contributors. Need to enjoy being around kids. Best if 2 people who work well together share the coordinating job.

I invite anyone who could help with these volunteer opportunities to contact me through the parish office or email me at
