VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES & PARISH NEEDS
“Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8
COMMUNION TO HOMEBOUND: Do you have family, neighbors or friends who are unable to attend mass? If you would like to take communion to them in their homes, call the Parish Center or see a Sacristan before mass. If you do not have a pyx one will be provided.
I invite anyone who could help with this volunteer opportunity to contact me through the parish office or email me at
THANK YOU To the 81 parishioners who attended the in-person mass last Saturday. To Fr. Adrian who through his homily, gave us strength and hope. To John who assists where needed and makes sure everyone & everything is where it needs to be. To our Pianist Jill & Cantor Jeanne, Lectors Jerold & Ginny, Eucharistic Ministers Karen & Mary, Ushers Greg, & Tim, Server/ Sacristans Mary & Ginny. Thank you to Alan, who through his talent films our masses, making it possible for many of our parishioners to take part on-line!
We thank those who brought the Eucharist from mass to their family & friends. Delfina, Dave, Ginny, Kathy, Debbie, Tim, & Sue.
THANK YOU to Fr Steve who provided Communal Penance to the parish last Sunday. During a time of pandemic, this is a gift to all. The opportunity was greatly appreciated by the 30 parishioners who attended. The next Communal Penance will take place Sun. March 28th at 2 pm. This will also be Palm Sunday. A perfect way to begin the holiest week of the church year and prepare for Easter!
THANK YOU to the 413+ who, through Drive-Up, attended our 2nd Lenten Fish Fry for 2021! Thank you to Members of the Men’s Club, and other parishioners who volunteered to help with set-up and clean-up! A huge Thank You to Jerold and members of the Scout Troop. They took orders, delivered orders to the kitchen, and brought meals back to cars waiting in the church parking lot and on Hall Ave. All done with extraordinarily little Wait Time! If you did not have a chance to enjoy a great meal, as well as financially help our parish, you have 5 more Fridays to enjoy the experience!!
