VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES & PARISH NEEDS

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”  Isaiah 6:8

We need volunteers to continue the work of serving our parish and community. Currently we have 5 continuing opportunities.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD, TEACHERS AND HELPERS NEEDED

From mid-September until mid-May, children ages 3 to 6 may participate in Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the 10:15 AM Mass; the children are in the chapel about 20 minutes for age-appropriate instruction and crafts. We need more teachers and teen helpers to consistently offer the program every weekend. Curriculum and supplies are provided. For more information about what is involved, email Faith Formation director Janelle Rohr at or call her at 651-457-3522.

BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING

Need Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), Physicians and EMTs who would be willing to volunteer on the first weekend of the month, after Sat. & Sun. Masses. Blood pressure cuffs will be provided.

MUSICIANS

In need of Choir members, Cantors & Instrumentalists. The choir sings for Sunday 10:15AM mass and practices on alternate weeks Sept-May. The Choir practices at 9:15AM. Next practice will be Sun. Oct. 20th. Cantors and instrumentalists are needed for both weekend masses.

ALTAR SERVERS

Inviting youth 4th grade and older who would like to serve at the Sat. 4pm or Sun 10am Mass. Training will be provided.

FAITH FORMATION

Looking for hospitality coordinators: Will plan & Organize food, drinks, service, set-up, and clean-up at 4-5 events in Oct, Dec, Feb. Mar. & Apr. Recruit helpers & contributors. Need to enjoy being around kids. Best if 2 persons who work well together shared the coordinating job.

THANK YOU!

We are a Volunteer Parish!!  The future of our parish depends on our dedicated volunteers.

Thanks to Myrna Bertram and Jackie Lackner for taking registrations for Faith Formation on our opening night. Thanks to Fernando Avalos, Crisanto Dubuc, and Ava Scanlon for setting up, serving, and cleaning up the refreshments on Faith Formation family night.
