“Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8
We need volunteers to continue the work of serving our parish and community. Currently we have 3 continuing opportunities.
FISH FRY
Our Lenten Fish Fry has begun! Perhaps rather than giving something up for Lent, you would rather be of service to others. The Fish Fry welcomes volunteers for many opportunities. They need volunteers to help in the kitchen, serve meals, clean tables and help with “Drive-Up orders. If interested, you can call the Parish Center and leave your name. Walk in volunteers are always welcome!
MUSIC MINISTRY
Come be a part of the music at St. Matthews during Holy Week and the Easter Season!
In need of Choir members, Cantors and Instrumentalists. Be part of the music liturgy for Palm Sunday, Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday & Easter Sunday. Take part in any or all the services. Whatever fits your schedule. For more information you may email Jill Kilzer at . or speak to her after one of the weekend masses.
CHILDREN’S LITURGY
Our Liturgy of the Word sessions for young children during the Sunday 10:15am Mass continue into May, and we need helpers for Sunday Masses in March, April and May. Can you be a helper once a month during that time? You would assist the teacher with children ages 3 to 8, helping the kids find their place in a booklet, helping with crafts, etc. If yes, contact Janelle Rohr at 651-457-3522 or 651-242-6004 or email:
I invite anyone who could help with these volunteer opportunities to contact me through the parish office or email me at
