“Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8
LITURGICAL MINISTERS
The weekend of July 18/19 we will resume worshipping in church. As we look at the guidelines put forth by the Archdiocese, that we need to follow as we begin a “New Normal”, we will need additional volunteers to serve as Ushers at both masses! We also continue to request volunteers to serve as Lectors at the Sat.4:15pm mass.
I invite anyone who could help with these volunteer opportunities to contact me through the parish office or email me at
WEEKLY COLLECTION Although we are not able to worship together, the bills still need to be paid. Please continue to financially support our parish by sending your weekly envelope contribution to the parish center. If you would rather contribute electronically, please contact John Riehle at the Parish Center 651-224-9793.
THANK YOU!
We are a Volunteer Parish!! The future of our parish depends on our dedicated volunteers.
THANK YOU to all who made it possible for the congregation to attend the Sunday Mass online. To our celebrant Fr. Adrian who offers mass for us and through the words of his homily gives us strength & hope as we live through these trying days. To Mary Bejblik & family who decorated the church for the Feast of the Holy Trinity! To John who assists where needed and makes sure everyone & everything is where it needs to be. To Pianist Jill & Cantors Anthony and Linda who provided the beautiful music. To Mary & Tim who presented the readings. We are all especially grateful to Alan!! He came forward last March and offered to film all our services. He then edits the production and puts it out on the web for all to view! He makes it possible for us to come together and worship as a parish, during an exceedingly difficult time. If you were not able to join the service as it happened, you can watch the mass on the st-matts.org. Website/Facebook page or on You Tube.
THANK YOU to Chris, Linda & Mary who prepared the last Parish Mailing, updating all parishioners on our “Back to Church” plans. Applying stickers, stuffing envelopes and sorting by zip codes, these were sent to all parishioners who do not have an email address on file. If you received your letter by USPS, and would like to receive parish communications by email, please contact the Parish Center to have your email address added to your file. This will save the parish a great amount of money if more correspondence can be emailed!
THANK YOU to Chris and Tony, who before the new ramp was installed, took out all the plants in the front garden. This spring they covered the garden with redwood mulch and re-planted those plants and added many more. Now that we are experiencing warm spring days, the garden is blooming, and it is lovely!! Although the church is closed, it is worth a drive, walk or bicycle ride past, just to see the beauty of our front entrance!
