THANK YOU to the 123 parishioners who attended the in-person mass last Sat. To Fr. Adrian who through his homily, gives us strength and hope. To John who assists where needed and makes sure everyone & everything is where it needs to be. To our Pianist Jill & Cantor John. Lector Mooreen, Eucharistic Ministers Kathy, Tim & Mary, Ushers Tom, Tim, Greg & Doris. Sacristan Mary, Server Paul, and Slide Opr. Ginny. Thank you to Alan, who through his talent films our masses, making it possible for many of our parishioners to take part on-line!
WE THANK those who brought the Eucharist from mass to parishioners or to their family & friends. Ann, Ginny, Tim, Delfina, Sue, & Dave.
THANK YOU to John Riehle! John is a “Son of St. Matthew parish!” A graduate of the parish school. The School Sisters of Notre Dame impressed on their students the importance of “Giving Back” to one’s parish. As a parish we are fortunate that John learned this lesson well! He has returned multiple times to serve as our parish administrator! He has helped to negotiate a new roof for the church, tenants for our school bldg. and guided us through all the guidelines to deal with Covid-19. John worked with Alan to make it possible to “stream” masses to all unable to attend. He will no doubt continue to watch theses masses and perhaps send emails with personal suggestions! We hope so. No matter where life takes him, he will always be a part of St. Matthew’s parish. He has helped to make the parish who we are today! So, we return to our roots and say to him – Auf Wiedersehen, Viel Gluck! (Goodbye & Good Luck!)
