Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”  Isaiah 6:8

GREETERS: St. Matthews seeks additional “Greeters”, for both Sat. & Sun. masses, to extend a warm welcome to those arriving for Mass. Your friendly smile and enthusiasm for the Church of St. Matthew are all that’s needed. To help, contact: , or the parish office.

THANK YOU: To the 99 parishioners who attended the 4:15pm mass last Sat. Feb 12thth and the 58 parishioners who attended the 10:15am Sunday mass. Thank You to Fr. Adrian who through his homily, gives us strength and hope as we continue to deal with the pandemic. To Kathy who handled the opening announcements at the Sat. 4:15 mass & Joanne at 10:15 am on Sunday. To our Pianist Brian & playing the  trumpet, on Sat Phil. To Pianist Jill on Sunday.  Cantor Kathy Lee on Sat & John Riehle on Sun. We thank Lector Anthony on Sat & Jerald on Sun.  Eucharistic Ministers  Kathy, Maggie Lee, & Tim on Sat;  Josie, Mooreen & Joanne on Sun. Ushers Tim, Kevin & Doris Sat; Ginny on Sun. Sacristans Mary on Sat,  Joanne & Ginny – Sun. Thank you to  Isabella, John, Tim, Corrine, Ginny, & Kathy  who took communion to parishioners unable to attend mass that weekend.

THANK YOU! To Linda who meets with families as they prepare the funeral for a loved one. To Fr Steve who provides consolation and hope to families during funeral and burial. To Jill who prepares the worship aid and, along with various cantors, provides the music at funerals. To the Funeral Sacristans who make sure everything needed for the service is in  place as well as provide hospitality to families during visitation. To all who volunteers who serve luncheons after the funeral service. These people regularly demonstrate the meaning of the Corporal Work of Mercy – To bury the dead!
