Are you or a member of your family unable to attend a weekend mass? We have ministers who will bring Communion to the home. They receive a pyx with a host, at the end of the Saturday & Sunday masses. They are then sent out with the blessing of the parish community. They will visit the home of a person who is no longer able to attend mass and they will read the gospel for that weekend. They will share a sentence or two from the homily, pray the Lord’s Prayer together and then give the host to the person they are visiting. This allows the parishioner to still feel a connection to the parish community. We have 2 more volunteer ministers. If you would like someone to bring this ministry into your home or know someone who would like this opportunity, please call the Parish Center.
