Fellowship
“Whoever has a heart full of love always has something to give.” —Pope John XXIII
Fellowship is a tradition.
We welcome groups for all ages and interests. Some groups have a long tradition of service and fellowship. Other groups that have been recently started by motivated members include adult Bible studies for parents of young children, and a discussion group centered on Catholic publications for lay people.
If you would like to start your own fellowship group, St. Matthew’s is the place to do it.
Rosary Society
A staple of women’s fellowship, the Rosary Society is a pillar of our faith community and a place for women to have fun.
It exists to demonstrate God’s love, develop friendships among members, and promote spiritual growth. Most meetings are in the afternoon, usually second or third Tuesdays. For more information call the Parish Office, 651-224-9793.
Men’s Club
The Men’s Club contributes mightily to the parish by mixing service and fellowship.
Club members help with parish fund-raising, sponsor and organize the ever-popular Lenten fish fry, host football watch parties, and offer free excursions to baseball games. The Men’s Club members are also generous supporters of St. Matthew’s youth programs. For more information call the Parish Office, 651-224-9793.
Youth Group
Youth in middle school and high school are welcome to join sponsored events ranging from recreation to service.
For more information call the Parish Office, 651-224-9793.
Bible & Religious Studies
Members of our community hunger for knowledge. In addition to bible studies, we provide opportunities for people to discuss the writings of contemporary theologians.
Suggestions for new classes and topics are always welcome.
Crafting Group
Like to do crafts? Need somewhere to do it? Want company? Come join us on Thursday evenings from 6-8 PM in the Social Hall.
Anyone and any craft is welcome. If you want to learn and don't know how we'll help you figure it out. Bring your own supplies. Sewing machine is available. For more information call the Parish Office, 651-224-9793.
